professional‌‌knowledge,‌‌skills,‌‌and‌‌dispositions‌‌identified‌‌in‌‌these‌‌standards‌

Briefly‌‌describe‌‌the‌‌artifact‌‌and‌‌the‌‌context‌‌in‌‌which‌‌it‌‌was‌‌created.‌‌What‌‌was‌‌your‌‌individual‌‌
contribution(s)?‌‌   ‌
The‌‌field‌‌experience‌‌I‌‌completed‌‌was‌‌the‌‌completion‌‌of‌‌my‌‌engaged‌‌learning‌‌project.‌‌

This‌‌experience‌‌required‌‌me‌‌to‌‌research‌‌ideas,‌‌create‌‌a‌‌plan‌‌that‌‌included‌‌standards‌‌and‌‌tasks,‌‌

and‌‌research‌‌possible‌‌products‌‌for‌‌students‌‌to‌‌develop.‌‌I‌‌also‌‌found‌‌websites‌‌to‌‌provide‌‌for‌‌

students‌‌to‌‌use‌‌as‌‌resources.‌‌This‌‌experience‌‌required‌‌me‌‌to‌‌write‌‌an‌‌original‌‌lesson‌‌plan‌‌and‌‌

revise‌‌the‌‌plan‌‌to‌‌better‌‌meet‌‌the‌‌needs‌‌of‌‌all‌‌students‌‌after‌‌receiving‌‌peer‌‌feedback.‌‌I‌‌also‌‌used‌‌

feedback‌‌from‌‌peers‌‌to‌‌make‌‌edits‌‌and‌‌develop‌‌a‌‌stronger‌‌rubric.‌‌Through‌‌this‌‌process,‌‌I‌‌was‌‌

also‌‌able‌‌to‌‌gain‌‌experience‌‌coaching‌‌peers‌‌on‌‌their‌‌engaged‌‌learning‌‌project‌‌ideas‌‌and‌‌drafts‌‌

and‌‌collaborate‌‌with‌‌them‌‌to‌‌make‌‌improvements.‌  ‌

 ‌
Explain‌‌how‌‌this‌‌artifact‌‌demonstrates‌‌mastery‌‌of‌‌the‌‌standard/element‌‌under‌‌which‌‌it‌‌is‌‌placed.‌‌   ‌
This‌fi
‌ eld‌‌experience‌‌‌allowed‌‌me‌‌to‌‌gain‌‌experience‌‌in‌s‌ ynthesizing‌‌and‌‌applying‌‌‌the‌‌

content‌‌and‌‌professional‌‌knowledge,‌‌skills,‌‌and‌‌dispositions‌‌identified‌‌in‌‌several‌‌PSC‌‌and‌‌ISTE‌‌

standards.‌‌Using‌‌the‌‌knowledge‌‌I‌‌gained‌‌throughout‌‌the‌‌course,‌‌I‌‌completed‌‌the‌‌project‌‌and‌‌

provided‌‌my‌‌students‌‌with‌‌safe‌‌internet‌‌tools‌‌and‌‌resources‌‌to‌‌help‌‌them‌‌complete‌‌their‌‌

projects.‌‌Understanding‌‌how‌‌to‌‌use‌‌indicators‌‌of‌‌engaged‌‌learning‌‌was‌‌beneficial‌‌as‌‌I‌‌created‌‌a ‌‌

learning‌‌experience‌‌for‌‌my‌‌students‌‌that‌‌was‌‌authentic,‌‌meaningful,‌‌and‌‌culturally‌‌responsive.‌‌

Through‌‌this‌‌field‌‌experience,‌‌I‌‌was‌‌also‌‌able‌‌to‌‌provide‌‌my‌‌students‌‌with‌‌a‌‌real-world‌‌

experience‌‌that‌‌kept‌‌them‌‌interested‌‌and‌‌engaged.‌  ‌

 ‌
What‌‌did‌‌you‌‌learn‌‌from‌‌completing‌‌this‌‌artifact?‌‌What‌‌would‌‌you‌‌do‌‌differently‌‌to‌‌improve‌‌the‌‌
quality‌‌of‌‌the‌‌artifact‌‌or‌‌the‌‌process‌‌involved‌‌in‌‌creating‌‌the‌‌artifact?‌‌(Not‌‌changing‌‌anything‌‌is‌n
‌ ot‌‌
an‌‌acceptable‌‌response.)‌  ‌
Completing‌‌this‌‌field‌‌experience‌‌challenged‌‌me‌‌to‌‌use‌‌new‌‌skills,‌‌knowledge,‌‌and‌‌dispositions‌‌to‌‌

develop‌‌a‌‌learning‌‌experience‌‌for‌‌my‌‌students‌‌that‌‌allowed‌‌them‌‌to‌‌use‌‌their‌‌content‌‌knowledge‌‌to‌‌

make‌‌connections‌‌to‌‌the‌‌real-world,‌‌collaborate‌‌with‌‌others,‌‌and‌‌develop‌‌a‌‌product.‌‌To‌‌improve‌‌this‌‌

experience,‌‌I‌‌would‌‌collaborate‌‌with‌‌my‌‌administrator‌‌and‌‌share‌‌the‌‌engaged‌‌learning‌‌project‌‌idea‌‌

with‌‌teachers‌‌in‌‌my‌‌school.‌  ‌

 ‌
How‌‌did‌‌the‌‌work‌‌that‌‌went‌‌into‌‌creating‌‌this‌‌artifact‌‌impact‌‌school‌‌improvement,‌‌faculty‌‌
development,‌‌or‌‌student‌‌learning?‌‌How‌‌can‌‌this‌‌impact‌‌be‌‌assessed?‌  ‌
The‌‌work‌‌that‌‌went‌‌into‌‌completing‌‌this‌‌field‌‌experience‌‌impacted‌‌student‌‌learning‌‌

because‌‌it‌‌provided‌‌me‌‌the‌‌opportunity‌‌to‌‌develop‌‌a‌‌learning‌‌opportunity‌‌for‌‌students‌‌that‌‌was‌‌

unlike‌‌any‌‌assignment‌‌they‌‌had‌‌completed.‌‌This‌‌project‌‌allowed‌‌students‌‌to‌‌use‌‌technology‌‌to‌‌

enhance‌‌their‌‌learning,‌‌collaborate‌‌with‌‌in‌‌field‌‌experts,‌‌and‌‌use‌‌their‌‌beliefs‌‌and‌‌opinions‌‌to‌‌

develop‌‌a‌‌product.‌‌The‌‌learning‌‌from‌‌this‌‌field‌‌experience‌‌can‌‌be‌‌assessed‌‌through‌‌the‌‌products‌‌

students‌‌were‌‌able‌‌to‌‌create‌‌after‌‌completing‌‌the‌‌project.‌  ‌
