SUMMARY

On 26th April 2021, I have conducted a progressive interview session with my

colleague, Muhammad Fahmi b. Kamaluddin. He is a fourth-year law student from Fakulti
Syariah & Undang-Undang, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. As an interviewer, a first glance
of my interviewee is very important, therefore, I asked my colleague to introduce himself and
a little bit about his background.

To extend the interview session, I asked Muhammad Fahmi what is his passion. Later,
he answered that he has a passion in leadership and public speaking. In addition, he said that,
he actively participated in English and Arabic debate competitions during his degree years.
Next, to widen the horizon of the interview, I asked Fahmi, how did he nurture his passion in
leadership and public speaking. As a result, he said that he started debating and public
speaking during high school. Obviously, his mother is the best supporter throughout his
journey to become a great debater and public speaker.

Apart from that, I also asked him, when did he start feeling passionate in leadership.
Later, Fahmi said, leadership is a good composition to develop himself as a good human
being. He is delighted to be given a chance to hold the position as secretary of his faculty’s
student council.

In conclusion, I personally feel that my interviewee really passionate in doing

activities. As a student, he didn’t use timing as an excuse to actively participate in student
activities and various community engagement programmes. For him, a student should garner
as much experience during their degree times.
