2 Related Works
Zilu Ying et al. (2011) used stochastic proximity embedding (SPE) for
feature selection, and for expression classification they used support vector
machine (SVM). The proposed algorithm was implemented on Japanese Fe-
male Facial Expression (JAFFE) database for FER, the better result compared
with some traditional algorithms, such as PCA and LDA etc. [3].

The final step of this system SVM was used to classify and tested the
expressions the input facial expressions into one of the seven types of ex-
pression [7][8][9]
3.5 Experiments Results

Complete confusion matrix (Table 1) indicated that that disgust, fear, hap-
py, and natural expression were recognized with very high accuracy
(100%). On the other hand anger expression recognized (80%).
