IIM Indore Records Phenomenal Summer Placements in 2020

This year despite facing an economic downturn due to the pandemic, IIM Indore, India’s
Premier Triple crown institution has come out with flying colours and a record 7 percent
increase in median stipend as well as a record 4 percent increase in Stipend for top 100. IIM
Indore continues to attract significant financial institutions, major conglomerates, FMCG
companies, and prominent startups to the institute during the placement season. Converting
70+ new recruiters, 190+ companies, Sales and Marketing offered the most jobs at around 25
percent followed by Consulting domain that had extended job offers at 24 percent. 1.8L was the
average stipend offered to the students of these institutes. Highest offer being 3.2L.

With a commitment towards creating a diverse batch portfolio, IIM Indore has one of the
highest female student percentages at around 42 percent and there is a wide variation in the
academic portfolio as well ranging from finance to psychology and arts, diversity is a key
differentiating factor of the institute.
