1. Exploración (Indagación): ¿Qué conocimientos previos tengo?
Las  preposiciones son palabras, o grupos de palabras, que sirven para unir un sustantivo o un
pronombre con otro elemento de una oración. ... Las preposiciones se pueden utilizar para
indicar tiempo, lugar, dirección o para definir el estado de algo. En esta oportunidad vamos a
trabajar las preposiciones de tiempo.

2. Estructuración (Conceptualización): ¿Qué voy a aprender?


PREPOSITIONS OF TIME (topic)

Las prepositions of time  son aquellas partículas invariables que se utilizan para introducir aquella parte
de la oración que nos indica cuándo sucede una acción (una hora, un día concreto, un momento
determinado del día, etc.). Las preposiciones de tiempo mas usadas son: at, in, on, since, for, ago,
before, after, to, from, till/until, past.

 Since (desde): from a particular time in the past until a later time, or until now. Example:
England have not won the World Cup in football since 1966
 For (por): used to show an amount of time.
Example: I'm just going to bed for an hour or so.

 Ago (desde hace): back in the past; back in time from the present.
Example: The dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago.

 Before (antes): previous to something.


Example: I’m going to meet her before the lunch.

 After (despues): in the time following an even or a period of time.


Example: I will call you after the meeting

 To (para): -used when saying the time, to mean before the stated hour.
Example: It’s twenty to six.
-It can also be used to define the end of a period of time.
Example: It’s only two weeks to Christmas.

 Past (pasado/a de): telling the time.


Example: It’s five past ten.

 From (desde): used to show the time when something starts and ends.
Example: The museums is open from 9:30 to 6:00, Tuesday to Sunday.

 Till/Until (hasta): Up to (to the time that)


Example: We waited till/until half past six for you.

Primeramente, presentaremos las preposiciones de lugar en ingles ya que estas siempre tienden
a confundir al momento de traducirlas literalmente al español.

En segundo lugar, vamos a diferenciar sus usos de acuerdo con el contexto.


2. Estructuración (Conceptualización): ¿Qué voy a aprender?

Las preposiciones de lugar en inglés son aquellas que ayudan a expresar la posición de un objeto


respecto a otro. ... Las principales preposiciones de lugar son: in, on, under/below, above/over,
near/close to, in front of, behind, beside, next to, between, among, into, at.

 The fire hydrant is below the blue dog. …. or … The fire hydrant is under the blue dog.
