Assignment- Burt's Bee Part 5

Ayaz Hussain Manglo

What are the key success factors of Roxanne Quimby?

Answer:
Quimby has put forth a lot of effort to help the firm succeed. As her company grows, she realises that it
is expanding beyond her skills, objectives, and certainly outside Maine, and she wants to extend it even
more. If Quimby stays in north California, I believe the Burt's bees will be able to expand their company
on a bigger scale since she has knowledge in calorina that they can't obtain in Maine. She has discovered
marketing specialists and a plant engineer here, who are assisting her in better managing and running
her firm. Due to her lack of formal business background, she may be able to teach herself in Calorina by
watching the professionals she hired. The following are some of the benefits of remaining in North
California.

 Less Taxes as was in Maine

 Low transport cost
 Central Location
 Less labor intensive
 Expertise in marketing and plant engineering
 High opportunities

In light of the foregoing, Quimby will most likely need to remain in northern California. In order
to develop her firm further, she should be able to leverage her manufacturing knowledge as a
basic element. Her keen vision serves as a useful asset in this situation. She must innovate her
product, much like she did in Maine, by creating fresh designs and creative items. So, by
utilising bird-in-hand facilities, she will be able to survive in Calorina and develop her profitable
company.
As we all know, there is a risk associated with making a decision. Although they have not yet
suffered a loss, there is no guarantee that this will not occur in the future because business is
not all about profits; you must also confront losses. But, bearing the following chances in mind,
she should start the firm here and use the Lemonade concept to leverage shocks or
eventualities. She is aware of the dangers and has honed her business abilities. As a result, she
should take advantage of the chance while keeping the danger in mind, and be ready for
anything to turn those mishaps into possible clues for next steps.
