About the Author Charles Wolzien is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado College of Music in Boulder. He immé grated to Canada in 2007 and now works out of his cveanside studio next to the Englishman River Estuary and Rathteevor Beach Pask on Vancouver Island in British Colusa, He joined the faculty of Colorado State University in 1974 as a part-time instructor of guitar, and from 1975 to 1979 served as an adjunct instructor 21 Metropolitan State College in Denver. In 1979 he moved to Boulder to de- sign, teach, and direct new undergraduate degree programs in guitar performance und education for the University of Colorado College of Music and subsequently cared tenure.
