Hello Parents,

My name is Mariesha LaFerney and I am your child’s ELAR 2 teacher. A little about me, I have my
bachelor’s in psychology and am from Louisiana. I love football and have a huge family with nine
siblings. I have one child and am married to my wonderful husband Nate. I enjoy reading and writing
poetry. Some high priority procedures we have in the classroom are the: Testing Procedures, Bell Ringer
Procedure and Entry into classroom procedure. Our grading scales are percentage based, but students
have all year to turn in paperwork and complete work in the classroom. If you need to visit or talk and
want to set up a parent conference, please call or email me and I’ll clear some space. My conference
hours are sixth period 1:15pm to 2pm.
