of living down;
- Helping small business through our Local Business Action Plan - to support economic recovery

wages, meaning more opportunities for young people to kick start their careers.

NEGATIVE MESSAGE

Labor are guilty of having No Plan… (to get Victoria Back on Top, to fix ballooning hospital waiting lists;
to help small business, to diversify the economy).

Labor only has a Plan… (for PR and spin; to raise taxes; to waste more of your money).

➢ 39 new and increased taxes (including on new homes, business and jobs, and your cost of

➢ Hospital elective surgery waiting lists nearly 30 percent longer in the past 12 months alone
➢ Ambulance waiting times worst in six years, five hour ambulance delays, patients forced to
take taxis
➢ Record $20 billion deficit (over the next four years) - more than all the other states combined
➢ More than $4 billion per year interest bill on record $156 billion debt – that’s enough to
employ over 35,000 additional nurses or teachers
➢ The highest rate of underemployment in the country at 10.1 per cent (June 2021)
➢ $2 million of taxpayers’ money spent on focus groups and PR
➢ Melbourne has fallen to eighth in world liveability index (from number 1)
➢ Lost major events including the AFL Grand Final, Formula One GP and the Australian Open is
at risk
➢ Every major project late and over budget including the West Gate Tunnel will be delivered at
least two years late and at least $2 billion over budget
