Operating instructions: Battery Installation and Syncing For receiver: + Open the battery housing of the receiver. + Insert three AAA batteries, close the battery housing again. + Once the batteries are inserted, the receiver will indicate the first indoor reading in the top left corner. + The receiver will then begin searching the outdoor sensor signal + Press “UP” on the receiver to select the corresponding channel from the sensor. For sensor: + Open the battery housing of the outdoor sensor. —+Locate the channel switch in the battery housing and select your desired channel (1,2 0r 3) Note: there are only two sensors included. + Insert two AAA batteries into the battery housing, close the battery housing again. + When the batteries have been installed, the sensor will begin transmitting readings to the receiver. The signal indicator will flash when transmitting successfully. Note: if the receiver does not display a reading from the outdoor sensor after 3 minutes and only 2 dashes are shown in the corner of the screen, remove the batteries from both units and repeat the above steps. Alternatively you can begin another search for the sensor by pressing and holding down the "UP" bution on the back of the receiver for 3 éeconds until the symbol" @ * flashes. Setting the time + Press and hold "MODE" for 2 seconds to enter the time setting, when the digits are flashing, select the desired time by pressing the “UP” or "DOWN" button. + Setting sequence: time zone—12/24HR—shour—>minute—+year (2000-2099) -smonth—+day-+M/D display format-»SNZ time (5-60 minutes), after setting, press “MODE” to confirm.
