Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of
testable explanations and predictions about the universe. It being the very base of life, is
highly valued by the society because the application of scientific knowledge helps to satisfy
many basic human needs and improve living standards. Science forms an indispensable part
of all the essential aspects of the universe that dissipates the cloak of ignorance and
disseminates the light of in-depth practical knowledge.

Amrita Vidyalayam wishes to celebrate this profundity of science by organizing, a week

long, assortment of interesting activities in the form of ‘Science Week’. The propitious event
will commence from July 26, 2021 and will culminate on July 30, 2021. The fundamental
objective of the five-day celebration is to encourage the young learners to think scientifically
and connect with the basic essence of science.

❖ Online science week activities will be conducted in the 1st period .

We earnestly request you to motivate your ward to participate in the zealous celebration.

In this regard some stimulating offline and online activities have been
designed which are below mentioned:

Offline Activities

Kindly note: - For paintings/portraits A3 size sheet should be used.

Select any one activity and allow your ward to showcase his/her hidden
potential. The activity must be submitted to the science teacher, through
mail, latest by July 28, 2021.
