1. How media and information improve quality of life?

I think that the smartphone revolution has brought the internet to citizens and consumers globally.
Individuals seek knowledge, self-determination, equality, opportunities, and voice. There is no denying
the extent of how the media and information age has drastically improved the lives of people.
Communication has been made easier. Information has become widely accessible. Conducting research
has become more convenient. All these and more are enjoyed by media literate individuals and prove just
how much the quality of life has improved thanks to media and information.

2. Define interpersonal and Mass Communication

Interpersonal communication is communication between people whose lives mutually influence

one another. It builds, maintains, and ends our relationships, and we spend more time engaged in
interpersonal communication than the other forms of communication. It occurs in various contexts and is
addressed in subfields of study within communication, organizational communication, etc. After all,
interpersonal relationships exist in all those contexts. Mass communication was derived from public
communication when it is transmitted to many people through print or electronic media. Print media such
as newspapers and magazines continue to be an important channel for mass communication, although
they have suffered much in the past decade due in part to the rise of electronic media. Television,
websites, blogs and social media are mass communication channels that you probably engage with
regularly.
