HiLynk: A Blockchain Based

UC Application, Task
Optimization and Networking
Tool

Abstract

The way in which consumers and business engage is inefficient and relies on separate
entities interacting in an expensive, non-user-friendly manner. This creates a broken
experience for customers and businesses. Entities operate in silos, assimilating data from
multiple sources in order to seek out service providers, or optimize ad spend and ROI. As
consumers and clients engage digitally, significant amounts of data is generated but is not
captured appropriately or ethically in order to maximize the benefits of the data for both
consumers and businesses.

HiLynk means to leverage advanced applications of decentralized ledger technology in


order to optimize user experience found in siloed applications (personal or business). By
developing a community of individuals looking for improved user experience, HiLynk will
be able to leverage their user community to create meaningful relationships through use of
datasets between businesses and their clients. In doing so, HiLynk will be providing both
business and personal toolsets in order to incent participation which will generate an all-
encompassing data sharing community. The simplicity of the HiLynk platform is to provide
best-in-class applications which customers already enjoy in both a personal or business
environment and then leverage those users to create datasets and business client
relationships in order to successfully drive project growth.

Due to the scope of the HiLynk project, the majority of this paper will discuss the MVP
which focuses on the retail (client) facing UC and social media consolidation application
enabling robust communication features between HiLynk users. Total project scope will be
discussed regarding the integration and synergy of the retail and future business
applications as well.
