TITLE: Prepare financial feasibility report of a chosen

product/service

Practical Significance: It will explain and provide a financial

feasibility report of a product/service

Relevant program outcome:- PO1,PO2,PO3, PO5,PO9,PO10

Competency course outcome:- To develop the knowledge

about how to write a financial feasibility report.

Relevant course outcome (COs):- Use the support systems to

zero down to your business idea.

Theory:-
Chosen service is going to be SMART TRANSPORT
It was included that there is a need for public transit and that the
cost needed to support public transit service within the country
would be an investment in enhancing community quality of life.
The degree that the quality of life would be met will depend on the
financial investment committed by the respective communities
that comprise the country. Further, the service options identified
were presented in an effort to enable the towns to assess the
various service levels.
Provincial Funding: The CUTA published federal provincial and
territorial funding of urban transit in canada. A compendium and it
identified the funding available to alberta municipalities for
communational transit and specialized transit which is quoted as
follows:
Operating costs:
● No direct operating grants
● Annual unconditional municipal program funding port or
none of which may be spent on transit.
Capital Costs:
● Rural transportation grant is to assist rural
municipalities in developing a network of roads to a
uniform standard.
Current Funding: RED Deer currently receives 600,000 annual
provincial grants for transportation. Which is dedicated exclusively
to roads for the movement of food and people. Since public
transportation is designed to move people as well some of the
funds should be masked fo transit.

Result: We have developed a financial feasibility report of our

project.

Conclusion: Hence we have successfully developed and learned

about a financial feasibility report of our project.
