Install the insulation to the suction line before cutting and making connections. When connecting to an indoor coil which has quick connect fittings, a CTO-A or CTO-12A stub kit is required. First, discharge the small holding charge in the indoor coll, then connect the tubing to the indoor coll and to the base valves of the outdoor unit. Leak test and evacuate the coil and tubing before opening the base valves. After operating the system, check and adjust the R-22 charge as shown under "Refrigerant Charge", Table 2, on page 3.
