Role:
As a General Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to build and scale our on-demand
delivery platform in one of our newly launched markets.
We're looking for someone who has a mix of operational prowess to get great work done, the
negotiation and collaboration skills needed to bring out the best from our partners, the strategic,
innovative and creative thinking that's required to develop outside the box solutions, and the
emotional intelligence and humility required to lead a fast-paced business and inspire a team of
people across different countries.

Glovo is a tech start-up founded in Barcelona in 2015. It is an app that provides delivery
services. You are in 19 countries so far and willing to expand. Your app connects three
pillars: businesses, consumers, and couriers. 90% of those businesses are small and
medium and you call them partners. Without them, Glovo would not exist.
Why Glovo?
I found your service and your modus operandi so efficient. From my point of view Glove
is an attractive company for this reason:
· You are growing so fast and be part of this growth would be so stimulating for me
· I appreciate and find a match with your core values, for instance, the importance of
being optimistic and staying in good vibes. I embrace that, I feel complaining about
problems is counterproductive and it absolutely doesn't help you in finding the right
solution. Even when working in a team, I feel the importance of maintaining good
relationships with peers and a positive and collaborative atmosphere.
· Then, I know you are socially ad environmentally responsible. For instance, during this
tough time, I appreciate your big effort in supporting small businesses with your
campaign "Glovo Local". Besides that, even before you act as a supporter of local
businesses and this is extremely important for our economy.
· Lastly, I am passionate about technology and I enjoy living in this digital era so joining
your company would mean being surrounded by the latest technology trends and digital
solutions.
Why a start-up?
Since a start-up has fewer people your decision and your role are more important, and
you can really directly affect its growth. This leads to being more responsible, flexible,
and willing to explore and improve. I think there is not a better place to learn than a
start-up.
Regarding the position, I believe it plays a crucial role in a company's growth and
success. It is about maintaining strong and meaningful relationships with partners and
making things work well for both. I guess, you may also need to be able to clearly see
and understand their needs and support them in maximizing their business
opportunities.
· First, you are looking for a person who has a strong attention to detail, and I can say I
am a perfectionist in everything I do, I always make sure the result is extremely precise.
· Then, you are looking for who has high level of interpersonal and influencing skills.
Well, I've participated in different projects abroad in which I interacted with people from
different countries, backgrounds and I developed a high level of flexibility, collaboration
and communication. I was able to influence as well as I've been chosen as leader of
some projects and assignments at the University in which I planned and assigned tasks
to my teammates.
· Lastly, I am a very organized person; I enjoy planning my days and a keep track of all
the tasks I need to do daily with my paper planning supported by a to do list app.
Planning makes me feel with the situation under my control. That is also something very
important for the position I am applying for
