What is a strip board?
A strip board is something that allows you to create a circuit It’s has got grid holes along the
rectangular board which also have a parallel strip of copper running through it which acts as
conductor of electricity when the circuit is being built.

circuit board are used as a general purpose used to construct electricals circuits that can be
used to transfer data from one source to another the main purpose of a circuit is to send
electronic signals to other electronic device.
What are the components of a circuit board?
The components are mostly attached onto the PCB to an electrical connection and
mechanical attached to the PCB(printed circuit board), they are mostly used in simplest
electrical products such as switch boxes. The holes are drilled at the back which is one of the
process for fitting.

Soldering is when two or more items are joined together by melting and putting a filler
metal into the joints.

Safety precautions for soldering:
Never touch the tip of the soldering iron
Always return soldering iron to its stand
Do not ever leave a soldering iron on
Wear safety goggles
Take care not to touch the main flex while the soldering iron is in it (different type of
flex include metal and plastic)

Work in an area with a lot of space
Preparing the soldering iron for use:
Make sure the soldering iron is in its stand before you plug it in
Have a damp sponge
Wait for the soldering iron to warm up
Wipe the tip of the soldering iron with the damp sponge
Melt a tiny bit of solder on the tip of the soldering iron
What is drilling?
Drilling is a key part of engineering it allows engineers to connect and attach materials to
other materials which allows the product that is being made to function how it is meant to
especially if it meant to be moving.

might cause long term problems)

Preparing to use a drill:
Mostly is the safety precaution needed all you are using is a drill, but I say you will have to
make sure the battery on the drill id fully charged and protect your lungs as much as
possible so wear a mask if possible.
What is a connection?
Connection is placing parts on an electrical circuit so that current may flow.
Safety precautions for connections:
Do not touch the contact pin while the power is on ( can give you an electrical shock)
Do not touch the pin with wet hands ( can give you an electrical shock)
Do not connect wires with power on
Make sure you have got the exact voltage needed to pass through the wires too
much can blow the circuit and in result lead to a fire starting
Preparing to start connections:
Create some wires by using wire cutters(connection also includes cutting as one of its
processes as well). Make sure you cut a suitable length and make sure you remove the
plastic on both ends if not your connection will not work.
How these three processes help to create a strip board:
These two processes have an excessively big impact in creating a strip board circuit,
soldering allows the pieces to stay in place and not move which means that the connection
will be firm and steady, if you are soldering led lights or a battery or anything to the strip
board ensure that you have got good solder joints all over as it will give you a better result
on your circuit. While drilling allows you to create holes in the circuits that allows you to
joint different type of wires together which allows power(electricity) to flow through,
without connection you will not be able to make any power(current) flow through your
