1. APPLICABILITY – The interim doctrine manual/publication is suitable,

practical and relevant to the following areas:

a) Is the interim doctrine manual applicable to the AFP operations?
b) Does it have a significant impact on current and future AFP
operations/activities, such that it would improve (combat and non-combat)
effectiveness of AFP units in the performance of their assigned mission?
c) Can it be supported by our own operational capability?
d) Can it be applied to our own threat environment?
e) Is it applicable to current or new capabilities?
f) Is it applicable to joint operations?
g) Is it sustainable?
h) Can it be tested using war game/ simulation?

2. CONSISTENCY – the interim doctrine manual is not in conflict with other
promulgated AFP doctrine manual/s, AFP doctrinal provision/s, national issuances,
policies and directives issued by higher authorities. It presents and uses standard AFP
terminologies, training, relationship, responsibilities and processes.

b) Does it synchronize operational concepts and procedures?
c) Does the manual conform to existing laws, rules and regulations?
