AR10 – AN (S 1:00-4:00PM)

Hanna Darlyn C. Tomaroy

In our life we don’t want to be the one who doesn’t belong or the one who is the outcast. We tend
to change ourselves and pretend to be like them so that we can fit in to the standards they want for us
enable to be accepted and for us to be belong. But as time goes by, I’ve learned and understand that if
you are with the right person or circle you don’t need to change who you really are just to please them
because they are willing to accept the real you. Live your life the way you wanted it to be and don’t be a
puppet of your own life.

Finding friendships is great but losing the real you in the process isn’t. I know we don’t want to be
alone and feel rejected by the world but we need to face the world ahead of us as who we truly are.
Accepting yourself first will lead you to find an eternal happiness that you desired. No one can dictate
you to be someone you’re not because you are the only person could decide how you wanted to be
seen. Don’t force things that you know eventually will hurt you at the end. Self-love and self-respect are
the most important thing you need to learn for yourself. Don’t live your life pleasing other people just
because you wanted to be belong but instead create your own path and world that will make you feel
accepted as you are and can express the real you within yourself.
