PLANNING A PROJECT
ccc ee 66 6s)
Brainstorming ideas
Avoid evaluation of ideas
The goal is quantity of ideas
Welcome free thinking and exaggeration
Ideas are owned by the team, not one individual. It is desirable to improve on
another person's idea
Keep the meeting active
Keep the discussions brief. Stay on target
Every idea is a good idea. No criticism is allowed
The team leader must manage conflict if and when it occurs
Work as a team to draw information out of each person
No one is allowed to dominate the meeting. Strong emotions have no place in
the brainstorming process
Everyone must participate during the meeting
Synergize whenever possible. Allow others to inspire new ideas
Improve on the ideas of others
