Book 1

● Protag wakes up in lab, escapes with help of laserdog

● Laserdog can transform into multiple energy weapons and shields, also a ring on hand
● Vast number of alien species, some humanoid, some not
● Most aliens have laser animals like this, turn into pets of that race
● Encounters supporting cast, love interest, all aliens
● Bad guys with mechas made out of reverse engineered Laserdog technology
● Humanoid races are referred to as “Secondborn Races”, descended from the Firstborn
race, the oldest and extinct race that Laserdog’s technology is derived from
● Secondborn colonizers and conquerors of lesser races
● They believe Protag is a Secondborn
● Megacorps abusing lesser races
● Protag and supporting cast become messengers between lesser races, run afoul of
megacorps
● Laserdog can turn into a mecha, not supposed to do that
● Main characters and lesser races refugees begin to search for Firstborn homeworld,
Protag hopes for a way back to Earth there

Book 2
● Search for Firstborn homeworld
● Supporting cast gets lasermals to turn into mechas too
● Firstborn homeworld is actually Earth
● Turns out Firstborn are humans, Protag somehow survived millions of years
● Defend Earth from Secondborn general, Earth becomes home to lesser races refugees

Book 3
● Clones being made, “Thirdborn Race”, can all use lasermals as mecha
● Protag discovers he’s actually a clone with implanted memories, not person he thought
he was
● Humans discovered

Book 4
● Humanity numbers in the quintillions, want to sterilize aliens for room
● Secondborn Races were supposed to wipe out nonhumanoid races, didn’t work out
● Leader is Protag’s DNA donor
● Lesser races refugees are forced to cut contact with main characters to keep humans
from wiping them out for living on Earth
● Protag has to join with Secondborn general, unite alien races against humans
Book 5
● Ally with Thirdborn against humanity
● Find human allies for spies/divide and conquer
