In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to move and
match continent and ocean names on a map and learn about map skills.

For example: In this interactive white board activity, the children will touch the board to
move and sort authors by time period and learn about literary genres.
Pedagogy

Activity The teacher will be standing at the front of the classroom at

the promethean board. The teacher will explain the activity to
the students, which is the students will be coming up to the
board to correctly match the continent and ocean names to
their correct locations on the map. The students will come up
one by one to move the continent or ocean name to the
location they think it belongs. Students can be picked
randomly by raising their hand or the teacher may pick using
popsicle sticks with students names on them.
