Why is Moisture Resistance Important in PAG Oils?

It’s all about the molecular structure of the oil. Ordinary PAG is formulated with only one end of the main
molecular chain capped. Supercool PAG oil is formulated with both ends capped. The benefit of this is
ordinary open-ended PAG is chemically active which contributes to the hygroscopy (water absorption
capability) and thermal breakdown of the oil. Supercool’s technologically advanced formula PAG
remains chemically inactive, or more hydrolytically stable, which allows it to be very tolerant of moisture
even at high temperatures and will not react to form harmful acids in the A/C system.

Why Does U/V Dye “Glow” When Exposed to U/V Light?

The colors of light that the human eye is able to see range roughly from red to blue in color. Blue light has a
higher frequency (more energy) than red light. The light which has frequency just lower than red light is called
"infra-red", and the light which has frequency just higher than blue light is called "ultra-violet". Both infra-red
and ultra-violet (U/V) light is beyond our eyes range for efficiently detecting.
Some materials have certain special properties that allow them to absorb U/V light and then re-emit the light at
lower frequencies which our eyes can see. This is called "fluorescence". These materials are found in U/V dye
so when we expose the dye under a black-light they will seem to "glow" since they are translating the invisible
U/V light into easy to see color such as the yellow-green used in Supercool U/V Dyes.

Easy to use in Flush Machines:

1) Fill Flush Machine reservoir with Supercool Equipment Flush (or
pre-Treatment).
2) Detach any filters or screens from system.
3) Connect Inlet and Outlet ports together and run machine until contaminants are flushed from system (for
Pre-Treatment, run machine until solution has been thoroughly circulated through all components of the machine).
4) Disconnect Inlet/Outlet port connection and remove flush (or Pre-Treatment) from flush machine reservoir.
Note: Supercool Equipment Flush and Pre-Treatment will mix with refrigerants and compressor lubricants.
Easy to use in Recovery / Recycle Machines:

1) Detach refrigerant cylinder from system – leave coupling open to atmosphere
2) Detach any filters or screens from system.
3) Place 4 to 6 ounces of Equipment Flush (or Pre-Treatment) in the reservoir of Supercool Flow Control Flush
Gun (part #24-1497) or similar tool.
4) Disconnect vacuum pump (do not flush through the vacuum pump as liquids are not compressible and can
damage the vacuum pump). Slowly release solution into the system. Hold start recovery button down allowing
solenoid valves to open. Note: This must be done very slowly so that only a fine mist enters the equipment &
not a liquid stream. Typically there are several solenoids and gate valves and it is important that the equipment
flush or Pre-treatment flow thru the solenoids and gate valves to free them of contaminants or coat them with
solution.
5) Cycle the system with shop air thru the flow control flush gun as flush is being released. Continue this process
until all lines, solenoids and valves are clear of contaminants (or are thoroughly coated with Pre-Treatment).
6) Repeat if necessary for heavily contaminated systems.
7) Remove excess flush/Pre-Treatment from reservoir. Re-connect vacuum pump and attach filters and/or screens.

Compressor Failures are often caused by loss of lubricant. Most compressors do not
hold enough oil to keep them properly lubricated which is why they rely on oil
circulating throughout the system with the refrigerant for lubrication.
If an A/C system has a leak and loses refrigerant, it will also lose oil. When recharging

NOT contain a Schraeder valve; instead they are equipped with a rubber-ball valve, which prevents the
escape of refrigerant. Over time the rubber in the valve undergoes changes that may allow the escape of
refrigerant from the system, which will require replacing the escaped refrigerant as well as the low side port

610-5 Is an OEM Aluminum R-134a High Side Primary Seal Fitting for later model Chrysler, Ford, and GM
vehicles. This R-134a Primary Seal High Side Fitting is used to replace the factory installed R-134a high side
fitting when worn or damaged (M12 x 1.5 thread). Like the 608, these ports DO NOT contain a Schraeder
valve; instead they are equipped with a rubber-ball valve, which prevents the escape of refrigerant. Over

TSI/Supercool warrants the products it offers to be free from defects in materials and work-
manship under normal use and service for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of ship-
ment.
TSI/Supercool reserves the option to replace any defective product(s) or issue credit at the
original sale price only. Both the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose are limited in their duration to the above warranty period. No agreement
or promise is made to reimburse for labor or other costs incurred in connection with any
defective product(s).
There are no representations, warranties or conditions expressed or implied, statutory or

otherwise, except those herein contained. TSI/Supercool assumes no liability for damages,
losses or injuries direct or consequential that may arise from the use or inability to use its
products. Any product(s) damaged as a result of misuse, poor installation, alteration, or any
other abuse, including improper packaging of returns to TSI/Supercool, will not be given
warranty consideration regardless of the original claimed defect.
• If a product appears to be defective, please call TSI/Supercool to request a Return Good

Authorization (RGA) number.
• Defective product(s) may be returned to TSI/Supercool only after authorization has
been granted by TSI/Supercool.

Merchandise Return Policy
1) Only new merchandise in factory fresh condition will be considered for return pending
approval by TSI/Supercool. Upon approval you will be issued a Returned Good
Authorization (RGA) number which must appear on all returned cartons and
corresponding packing list(s). All returns are subject to a 10% restocking charge.
Merchandise must be returned to TSI Freight Pre-paid within 30 days of issuance of
an RGA number. Credit for returned merchandise will be issued at the acquisition
price minus fees listed above.
2) All merchandise returned for credit must be shipped freight prepaid to the following
address:

Any claims for delay, loss or damage should be made against the freight carrier.
3) Non-approved Returns Will Not Be Accepted.

6) When approved merchandise has been received, inspected, and processed,

TSI/Supercool will promptly issue a credit memo. No deduction shall be allowed
until the credit memo has been issued.
