Performance Enhancer for R-134a
A/C Performance
• Faster Cool-Down Rates
• Reduces Vent Temperature
• Increases Cooling Capacity
• Cleans and Revitalizes R-134a A/C Systems
• Reduces Compressor Wear
• Compatible with PAG, Ester, and Mineral Oils
• Will not Harm A/C System Components or Equipment
• Ideal for Both New Vehicles and Older Vehicles with A/C Systems
that Have Been Retrofitted to R-134a
Supercool Air Conditioning Performance Enhancer is a unique, low cost refrigerant additive that
enhances the performance of automotive air conditioning systems by increasing the system’s cooling
capacity. Increased cooling capacity allows your car to cool even faster while lowering vent
temperature! This is especially desirable when considering the reduced capacity of automobile A/C
systems that operate or have been retrofitted with R-134a refrigerant.

Some materials have certain special properties that allow them to absorb U/V light and then re-emit the light at
lower frequencies which our eyes can see. This is called "fluorescence". These materials are found in U/V dye
so when we expose the dye under a black-light they will seem to "glow" since they are translating the invisible
U/V light into easy to see color such as the yellow-green used in Supercool U/V Dyes.

Part # 99-375 R-12 Oil/Dye Injector
Dye Dropper
“If an A/C system is leaking refrigerant, it’s also leaking lubricant. And the number one cause of compressor
failure is lack of lubrication, which is why repairing leaks is so important. However there are times when a
vehicle’s value or the customer’s pocketbook just doesn’t allow for a costly repair. And yet you’ve still got an A/C
leak that needs to be fixed. That’s when Supercool Leak Stops can provide quick, safe, and cost effective solu-
tions. They do not contain polymers and will not harm the A/C system, its components or equipment.”

HSN/HNBR O-rings are high density, oil saturated rubber seals used at the
juncture of two fittings to prevent the escape of R-134a refrigerant from air
conditioning systems.
R-134a molecules are significantly smaller than those of R-12 thus a denser
rubber seal is required to contain R-134a. Although HSN/HNBR O-rings may be

Keys and Shims
A/C Systems are divided into a High side and a Low side. In an orifice tube system the
high side begins at the compressor, continues through the condenser, and ends at the orifice tube.
The low side begins where the high side ended -- at the orifice tube. From there it continues through
the evaporator, through the accumulator, and again ends at the compressor.

If an A/C system has a leak and loses refrigerant, it will also lose oil. When recharging
a system with refrigerant, it is also critical to ensure that the proper amount of lubricant
is available in the system to keep the compressor properly lubricated.

Part # UT11
608-5 Is an OEM aluminum R-134a Low Side Primary Seal Fitting used on later model Ford vehicles to
replace factory installed R-134a low side fittings when worn or damaged (M10 x 1.25 thread). These ports DO
NOT contain a Schraeder valve; instead they are equipped with a rubber-ball valve, which prevents the
escape of refrigerant. Over time the rubber in the valve undergoes changes that may allow the escape of
refrigerant from the system, which will require replacing the escaped refrigerant as well as the low side port
itself.
610-5 Is an OEM Aluminum R-134a High Side Primary Seal Fitting for later model Chrysler, Ford, and GM
vehicles. This R-134a Primary Seal High Side Fitting is used to replace the factory installed R-134a high side
fitting when worn or damaged (M12 x 1.5 thread). Like the 608, these ports DO NOT contain a Schraeder
valve; instead they are equipped with a rubber-ball valve, which prevents the escape of refrigerant. Over
time the rubber in the valve undergoes changes that may allow the escape of refrigerant from the system,
which will require replacing the escaped refrigerant as well as the high side port itself.

Part # Part # Part # Part # Why It’s Important to Keep Water
Out of Oil
59100 6233-10 BRY-134 1767
59105 110-10 CG-11 FFG Water and oil do not readily mix because of the
59106 108-10 kind of molecules from which each is made.
CH-2 615-10
59107 SAC12 Water molecules are polar; that is, they have a
59113 CL-1 614-10 minute negative charge on the oxygen part of the
402
59116 CQ-10 FFQ molecule and a minute positive charge on the
SAC134
59145 9925 CRK-6T RRK2 hydrogen part of the molecule. Weak bonds are
59168 SOVR DRK-1 KEB2 formed between the water molecules.
59169 SOVB DV-134 402
59173 EC-2 E115 Most oils on the other hand, are made up of mole-
SOVY cules which are non-polar they carry no negative
59183 T1438 FLC-3 674-10 or positive charges. They are sometimes called
59195 UV1 FSG-3 9336 hydrophobic (hydro = water: phobic = hating). This
59198 66 GPH-6 P150-8 hydrophobic property causes the molecules to
59199 2211 GPL-5 P46-8 clump together into globules when added to
59214 T101 water. Most natural oils do not mix with water.
GPM-7 P100-8
59607 109-10
59608 GVC-2 673-10
6203-10 The reason oil floats on the surface of water has
59612 LDS-1 STOPA to do with its density. A given volume of oil has
59612
59615 59615 LIT-50 UV1 less mass than the same volume of water or in
59617 59617 MB-134CS 401 other words it has less density than water and so
59651 59651 MC-134 QT2610 floats on top. This is Archimedes principle and is
59652 59652 MF-134 66 expressed by density = mass / volume.
59653 59653 PC-2 7554
59654 Oil can be made to mix with water through the
59654 PKR-2 KEB4
59658 addition of additives -- which promote the forma-
7271 PY-7 E7 tion of a stable mixture (or emulsion) of oil and
59731 12503 PYG-9 E127 water -- known as emulsifiers. These additives are
59750 VF32 commonly found in motor oils and transmission
PYQ-8 E31
59820 71500 fluids. There are also some oils, which are some-
59835 QFH-4 33410
SG1001 what polar in nature and have an affinity to water.
59945 QFL-3 34411
608-5 Of these oils PAGs and some Esters are the most
59946 610-5 RL-1 687-10 polar, and have a tendency to absorb or dissolve
59972 13265-5 RTA-1 10RA water.
59973 13258-5 SVC-1 672-10
59975 606-5 TC-1 618B-10 It is important to keep water out of AC systems.
59976 602S-5 TC-2 620B-10 Typically a bag of desiccant is placed in the
59977 604S-5 TH-27 4420 “dryer” which is intended to remove the free water
59978 603S-5 from the system. Water is detrimental to the air
VA-1L 602-5 conditioning system in a number of ways: 1) Free
59981 60290S-5 VA-2LB 60290S-5
59982 water in the system may freeze and block the
618B-10 VA-3H 603-5 expansion valve of the orifice tube, which will
59983 620B-10 VA-4HB 60390S-5 essentially prevent the AC system from function-
59985 60490S-5
VA-5H 606-5 ing. 2) Dissolved and free water in the AC lubri-
59986 60390S-5 cant will shorten the life of the compressor. It is
59987 614-10 VA-7H 604-5
well documented that a change in dissolved water
59988 615-10 VA-LH11CS 604K from 100 to 400 ppm will reduce bearing life and
69050 67675 VA-LH8 602K thus compressor life by half. 3) Dissolved water
69051 SCAS-5 VT-1 DC4 also promotes a condition called hydrolysis, which
69052 SCBS-5 is the decomposition and oxidation of the lubricant
69053 SCCS-5 creating sludge and varnish in the AC system.
69070 7011 Much of the sludge and varnish clogging AC sys-
69085 D1-12 tems is a result of the oxidation of the fluid / refrig-
69086 9497 erant in the system.
