ABSTRACT

This is a roadside greening evaluation. This evaluation was carried out at the border of Jalan
Kudus Jepara street. The purpose of this activity is to identify and evaluate the green lanes of the
Kudus-Jepara main road and provide recommendations for the selection and arrangement of roadside
plants. The results of this evaluation can be taken into consideration in the development of the next
streetscape. Therefore, it is necessary to identify and evaluate the green line of the Kudus-Jepara main
road as a pollutant absorber, shade, guide, security, and aesthetic value maker. The research method
used is the survey/observation method or direct observation in the field on aspects of ecological
function, safety, and driving comfort as well as conducting interviews and literature studies. Data was
collected using field observations and distributing questionnaires.
