doctoral research fellow at Department of Immunology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA since Sept 2018 to present. During his postdoctoral research He is studying the role of immune system that help tumors grow and spread as well as immune responses that protect against cancer. His major focus is cancer inflammation and immune surveillance, and the function of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in colorectal cancer. He did his Ph. D. in Biotechnology from Daegu University, South Korea. He has published more than 40 papers in international journals & conferences. He is the recipient of several awards such as FOCIS Foundation C. Garrison Fathman Fellows Fund (CGFFF) Trainee Travel Award 2021, 2021 FCE Award to attend the FOCIS-2021 Annual Meeting, Winner of Minnesota Colorectal Cancer Research Foundation (MCCRF) Grant 2020, Brain Korea 21 fellow (BK21+) and also the member of several editorial boards.
