You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand
of visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central
Park, the Metropolian
museum and Time’s Square.
In the picture you can see the
Statue of Liberty, a monumet
built between 1875 and 1986.
It is 93 meters tall. The statue

Rome is an Italian city, It is the
most populated municipality in
Italy and the third most
populated city in the European
Union, 2815951 inhabitants has
Rome is a place with an
extensive history, they have
distinctive places to visit, its
main one is the Plaza de San
Pedro It is a very beautiful
square and one of the largest in
the world, it is located in the
Vatican city, at the foot of the
Basilica of San Pedro, hence its
name.
Sydney is Australia's most
cosmopolitan and multi-ethnic
city. The city of 4 million
inhabitants, it is the largest city,
the main economic engine and
the most common tourist
destination in Australia. There is
so much to see and do in
Sydney. You can visit taronga
zoo, darling port and Bondi
beach. In the image you can see
the Sydney Opera House is a
building dedicated to holding
opera events, concerts, theater
and other works of an artistic
nature.
Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland
and the second largest city after
Glasgow. With 495,360 inhabitants,
Edinburgh is the second most
visited city in the United Kingdom,
after London, with approximately
13 million tourists a year. There is
so much to see and do in
Edinburgh. You can visit the
holyrood palace, calton hill and
royal mile. In the image you can
see the Edinburgh castle, it is an
old fortress built on a rock of
volcanic origin located in the center
of the city of Edinburgh.
 Dubai is an emirate city of the
United Arab Emirates. With
3.331 million inhabitants, Dubai
is known for its luxurious
commerce, ultra-modern
architecture and its lively
nightlife. There is so much to
see and do in Dubai. You can
visit the Dubai Fountain, artificial
slas just off the coast are
Atlantis. In the image you can
see the Burj Khalifa, a tower 830
Dubai (United Arab Emirates) – The Burj m high, dominates the
Khalifa landscape full of skyscrapers
and is the highest in the world.

When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform
