As and architecture student, this piece hold my interest and made
me read the whole piece because it tackled a very timely and relevant topic. In my point of view, the issues pin pointed out in this article are also seen in my community like enhancing competitiveness and alleviating urban poverty. This piece made me realize the importance of urbanization, how it helps not only the economy and the quality of the life of the people but also the community and environment as a whole. It gave me opportunities to have visions, ideas for the future developments of my community and to other places.
