- Work efficiency for doctors at 100% capacity: 8 beds / doctor (12 hour shifts)
- Work efficiency for nurses at 100% capacity: 6 beds / nurse (12 hour shifts)
- Expected ward occupancy = 100% peak; 30% off peak
- Supply of talent: Approx 100 doctors available in talent market. Graduation of final year
students delayed until Feb 2021 due to pandemic
- Supply of talent: Approx 150 nurses available in talent market
- Indus Hospital has complete paper-less operations
- Expected volume of Covid-19 testing: 600 tests / day
- Work efficiency for Janitorial Staff: 10 beds / janitor (50:50 gender split)
DOCTOR
We need to recruit with from external source plus we can develop it from internal
resources as the number of patients would be higher because of pandemic and so the need
atleast 10 doctor at a time (as the total capacity of beds is 80). we need the specialist doctor so
we can not relocate or collaborate the doctors.
NURSES
We need to to recruit & develop it from external & internal sources plus we can also hire
contingent worker from the last year medical students of univercity because we need higher
number of nurses as the number of patient would be at peak.
JANITORIAL STAFF
In the time of pandemic the most important thing that we need to take care is Disinfection
facility+ weekly disinfection + daily cleaning of beds, room, etc+ toilets and common area, for this
we need to recruit Janitorial Staff from internal sources plus external sources and we can hire
some junittorial staff on a contract base as we need the staff for the limited time period.
