Midwife : Good afternoon, Ms Susan. Have a seat.

Susan : Good afternoon. Thanks

Midwife : Are there any complaints?
Susan : Yes. I often feel queasy especially in the morning
Midwife : I see. It is normal for some pregnant women actually, especially during the
first 3 months. We call it morning sickness. I know it is bothering you. Just
have some tea with sugar and biscuit before you get up from your bed. It
helps. You can ask someone at home to make it for you.
Susan : Airight, ma’am. I will try. Sometimes I also have a pain in my waist and
back.
Midwife : It’s caused by pregnancy. Your waist and your back support your stomach
all day.
Susan : Oh, I see. How can I relieve myself from it.
Midwife : By lying your waist you could rest to support your stomach.
Susan : But I couldn't sleep in the afternoon, so what should I do?
Midwife : You do not need to sleep well. but you need to rest by lying down
Susan : Oh I see
Midwife : You should get enough rest. About 8 hours at night and about two hours in
the afternoon.
Susan : Starting from today I will do it specially for my baby.
Midwife : I’m sure that you can do it.
Susan : I understand, Ma'am.
