Journal Article Analysis

The following is a peer review of the article “A Reliable Framework for Communication in
Internet of Smart Devices using IEEE 802.15.4” in the journal of Engineering and Applied
Sciences.. The review will cover specific parts of the article, from the title to the conclusion.

Title

The title of the article is clear and contains keywords that carry the content of the entire
article. It includes the term ‘IEEE 802.15.4’, which is the basis of the article. They give a lot
more to end users and are integrated into their everyday lives.

Abstract

An abstract is a brief description of a scientific paper. It must explain the article's "what,"
"why," "how," and "findings" in order to be considered up to par. This is useful to readers
because it reminds them of the article's meaning, and determines whether the article is true or
not, based on the reader's needs. The abstract of the paper satisfies all of these criteria, as it
states the purpose of the research, the form of study, the methodology used, the results, and
the guidelines based on the findings. By offering both a worded and a photographic abstract,
the writers make the abstract even clearer.

Introduction and Literature Review

An abstract for a journal article provides an overview of what is in the article, but it is the
presentation that determines whether the article is appealing or not. An introduction, which is
an integral aspect of the paper, provides the meaning of the article by summarising current
knowledge and related background facts. The object of the paper, which may be expressed as
a challenge, theory, or study dilemma, as well as its justification, must be stated in the
introduction. The authors state in the article that their aim is to assess “the internet of smart
devices network, which is a mixture of smart device apps and a layered architecture that
includes IEEE 802.15.4.” and their goal of this study is to develop a latest concept for secure
communication among smarter devices connected to the internet. This study uses the
IEEE802.15.4 standard, which includes a Markov chain and a MAC layer.”

The number of mobile devices in use around the world is the at an unprecedented pace. End
consumers get a lot more from them, and they're built into their daily lives. Mobile phones
have relied on a single cell phone network for personal communication for the past decade.
