Characters: Matilda and the librarian
The book begins by introducing us to Matilda, a gifted child, who begins to
speak as soon as she turns one, and by the age of three, she was reading
fluently. When she turns four, her parents always ignored her and never
bought her useful things, one of those things being books. Since they don't
want to buy her books, Matilda decides to go to the Municipal Library of her
own free will.
The librarian and other people were surprised to see such a little girl in the
library, after that the librarian decided to help Matilda to look for books for
her age. After that, Matilda went to the library every day, until she discovered
that she could take the books home and that is what she does, and she becomes
more and more passionate about reading.
