Different Navigational Information

1. Consult relevant publication :

Admiralty Pilot volume, ALRS, Guide to port entry,
chart (BA 84), General instructions & anticipated Fresh Water draft.
2. Maximum Permissible Draught at jetty for vessels :
Upto 9.50m subject to day’s permissible draught and place of berth.
3. Maximum Permissible LOA Day time :
190 meters subject to place of berth.
Maximum Permissible LOA Night time:
175 meters . But Ship movement prohibited for Tankers & vessels at mooring buoy
at night.
4. Radio communication:
Port Radio Control Room is equipped with modern VTS equipments and maintain
watch round the clock . Call as “PORT CONTROL” over VHF on Channel 12 &16
for any requirement.
Also kept watch on 2182 KHZ/SSB transceiver.
