Key Learnings from Manager we are katti with you

Following are my learning from this case:
1. Through this case we learnt about the various components of industrial relations,
which included the labour union, management, government, Industry, employee and
workers. We also understood the various acts, rules, and regulations that are in play
which govern the politics and motivations within.
Industrial relations examine various employment situations, not just ones with a
unionized workforce. Industrial relationship includes monitor, analyse and resolution of
conflicts of interest.

2. The reasons there are problems and mistrust between the employee and the
employers are because of gap in expectations, lack of job security, conflict of
interest, exploitation of labours, lack of communication and low financial security.
The workers are concerned with job and financial security whereas the managers are
concerned with productivity, resolving issues, cost reduction and smooth operations.

3. The framework of trade unions is such the state, trade union and the employer are
all interlinked with each other with some overlap which is called the industrial
relations system. These are affected by the economic, socio-political, and technical
factors. These are guided by the national context and global context. We also
learned the advantages and disadvantages of the trade unions. It depends on the
sector and the type of union and the purpose which may decide whether it is more
advantageous or not.
