Every year is another opportunity for teachers to gain knowledge on the best way to improve their
methods and strategies. It is even more imperative now due to the current crisis and changes in the
attitudes and needs of learners in adherence to the growing advancement of technology in their lives. This
paved the way to embrace the first topic of the second day of virtual in – service training which is about the
Effective Utilization of Multimedia by Teacher Joy G. Salazar and followed by Teacher Neil Arvin Bautista
with his expertise on Video – Editing Techniques in producing quality video lesson. In the afternoon
session, Teacher Salvador Manansala talked about the critical role of assessment in online learning in a
new normal setting. The last speaker, Teacher Minerva Grace O. Silvestre, shared her knowledge about
open educational resources readiness review criteria. Generally, the day ended with learnings that are very
useful for our learners.
