1. What do you think are the benefits of reading for children?

In recent times, most people have a tendency to get caught up in the rat
race instead of spending time with their families, especially their
offspring. Personally, I strongly believe that parents should take the time
to read for their children because of a variety of reasons. I think the most
common one is that children and parents may become closer to each
other so the family relationship may be improved. As a recent survey,
family conflicts which have resulted from misunderstanding as well as
spending less time with their families have a rapid increase in our life. I
shouldn’t forget to mention that reading stories to your child regularly
can not only develop their imagination but also nurture their soul. Last
but not least, children are considered to grow up maturely when they
were told folk stories that were passed down from their parents’
generation. Thanks to these stories, children learn plenty of moral
lessons as well as know how to behave well with everyone.
2. What do you think are the benefits for reading to children?
Well, there is a mixed variety of benefits of reading to children. The first
reason I would like to mention is that it gives children a chance to widen
their horizons about the world about them. Thanks to the wide range of
books such as science, literature, astronomy, children are able to enrich
their knowledge in order to get good marks for their studies. I shouldn’t
forget to mention that reading stories can not only stimulate their
imagination but also give them a huge motivation. It’s strongly believed
that reading gives them a huge inspiration and a good chance to think
about themselves more clearly. Last but not least, children are
considered to become more and more relaxed after reading books.
Instead of using technical devices, children can sit alone in their room and
read their favorite books.
