your blog post URLs to understand what your content is all about.

4. Add Focus Keyword in the First and last
paragraph of article
To rank on the first page of Google. It is very important for Google to
understand; on which keyword you want 1 ranking.

To do this, you have to do certain things that will give google a clear
indication about that keyword.

And adding your focus or targeted keyword in the first and last
paragraph is one of them. So always include your targeted keyword in
the first and last paragraph.

Now, don’t try to include focus keywords forcefully, if should look

natural. Then only, it can help you in better ranking. If you include it
forcefully it looks like keyword stuffing. And Google hates keyword
stuffing. You will get a negative impact for that.

So Do it naturally. Let me show you some screenshots to understand
it in a better way.

Now, let me show you an example from my blog

5. Use Long Tail Keyword

Focusing on long-tail keywords is a great SEO practice. Long-tail
keywords are keywords or key phrases that are more specific – and
usually longer that the short tail and highly competitive keywords.

For Beginners and newbies who just have started their blog. Long-tail
keywords are the best keywords for them to target. And with long tail
keywords the rate of conversion is higher because the audience is very
targeted, as they are more specific.

10 | P a g e
Here are some of the benefits that you will get if your target long tail
keywords in your blog.

• Long tail keywords are easy to rank keywords.

• Long-tail keywords have better conversion rates
• Long-tail keywords help you rank for single targeted keywords
• Better targeted traffic
• Long-tails already include your short tail keywords

6. Write Long and in-depth Content

Writing in depth articles which are fulfilling the user’s intent is very
important for top ranking. If you write incomplete or short articles
then, users will not gonna like your content.

And they bounce back and go to some other site. And this will
indicate google that your content is not suitable for users and your site
ranking will drop gradually.

Because google wants to provide the best content that completes user
search Intent completely. So, always try to write in-depth and long
content according to users that fill their content completely.

If you complete users search intent then Google will automatically

boost your site ranking in search engine result pages.

Subheadings are used to divide your content into scannable blocks.

8. Image Optimization
There are 200+ ranking factors that help your site to rank on top of
Google. Image optimization is also an important on page seo factor.
Images are a strong visual component of a webpage. They say that a
‘Picture is better than a thousand words.
With image optimization you will also get traffic on your site from
Google Images. The most important Image Optimization factors
includes: -
• The alt tag: - Alt tag is the most important image optimization
factor. Alt stands for alternate. The text in the alt tag is
displayed in place of the image if the image cannot be shown or
is taking too long to load. Most of the major search engines are
text-based, i.e. they cannot read images and videos. Here alt tags
help search engines to understand the image.
• Image size: - Image size is a very crucial factor as it directly
affects the loading time of the page. There are a few things you
can do to ensure your images doesn’t slow down the page:
• Use .jpg over .png
• Compress your images before uploading.
• Use Image Plugins for Lazy Load

9. Must Use LSI Keyword

LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) are the similar that search engines use
to deeply understand content on a webpage. By Using LSI Keywords
within your content, Google will rank your site better for that specific
topic in SERPs.

One thing I should point out:

13 | P a g e
LSI Keywords are NOT synonyms.

Instead, they’re terms that are closely tied to your target keyword.

For example, take a word like: “jogging”.

Well, “running” is just a synonym of “jogging”.

Now:

There’s nothing wrong with using that synonym in your article (in
fact, it can help with your on-page SEO).

But it’s not an LSI Keyword.

LSI keywords for “jogging” are things like: “shoes”, “cardio” and
“5k”.
But the biggest problem is: How to find LSI Keyword for your
target keyword?

The best way to Find LSI Keywords are Google suggested search
terms or Google autocomplete.

Let me show you some screenshots of LSI keywords using Google

autocomplete and related search terms.

copy, but only two out of 10 will read the rest.”

and more clicks. And numbers in your title can do this for you.

knows he will get an easy read point by point.

what’s behind the message — explained easier, faster, and clearer than just a
cluster of written words.
Visuals Generate More Organic Visibility of your blog in search results and that
will help in better ranking in SERPs.

17. Use Skyscraper Technique

skyscraper technique was introduced by Brian dean. (Founder of Backlinko).

And this works like a charm. Now, to get results with this tip, what you have to
do is analyse top ranking sites and Just publish more detailed and long articles
