Then my parents told me about a game named "Spot the Ball" that was very popular
in the 1970s. lt was a simple game found in lots of newspap ers. You looked atan action
shot of a soccer game, but the ball was removed from the photo, and you had to say
where you thought it should be. Apparent ly, ml_da_~ found it really 3 ~ V { J .,rnd
played it every week. But Mom got very ffirl_~ ~ with him because he wan(ed to

discuss exactly where ali the players were looking. Mom used to guess, and one week
she won! She only won $100, but that was a lot of money in those days.
Later, 1 read an article about the game, and I was amazed that the last time anyone won
in
the jackpot prize, was in 2004! About three million people used to play it every week
the 1970s, but now there are only about 14,000 players. 1think that's a little
s W"Y>O, because it 's a lot of fun.

There's another game that I really enjoy that uses images. You see a very small part
somethin g in detail , and you have to figure out what it is. There are entire blogs with

of the images are really 6 Qx\QO ~. but to me, that 's what makes them even more
interestin g. l love asking myself question s about them : What does it look like? Is it an
animal? Is th at part of amachin e? How big is it really? Do you want to take a guess?
