Direct Marketing Retailing Strategy for J.

J. is famous apparel brand in Pakistan as well as few other countries. Before suggesting the
Direct Marketing Retailing Strategy for the company I would prefer to check which of the
following strategies it uses or not:

a) First and foremost effective strategy for retail marketing is dependent upon where you
can provide the products, the company wants to sell. Specific campaigns are of
secondary importance because there are the times, brilliant marketing tactics sometime
fail if anyone doesn’t meet customers where they are.
Then it is necessary to identify the channels and activities for bringing potential
customer / visitors to your stores. Some of them may include: o Retail display o Online
listing o Digital marketing
o Comparison of the performance of your brand with competitors
b) Use of own building, fixture, furniture and corners to attract the customers. Because it is
very wise before looking at elegant retail marketing tactics, try to decorate the assets
the company already has. It should come up with creative displays and arrangements to
make them visible. Further, pay to staff adequately so as to keep them hale and hearty
so as they become able to deal with your customers in nice way.
c) The company should use social media i.e. Facebook, Instagam, Pinterest. In Facebook,
start a Facebook Group and run Facebook ads. In Instagram, make its visual content
exquisitely and hashtag it up. The company should also consider SMS marketing, which
also plays vital role in bringing the customers to store. The company should also
consider starting email marketing.
d) The company should look out to market its business through key partnerships, where it
is not present but it senses the demand for its product.

After examining the strategies of J., I would suggest the points which it does not carry out.
