Welcome to final year! A very very important last architectural academic project/ semester
before you step out in the real world (besides research thesis next sem).

Kindly read the note that Vinay sir has framed for final year and along with it the ppt too.

We shall be discussing it further, so it's important for all of you to have read it carefully.

Look forward to being on board for the journey of this sem with all of you......next month.

Start-up exercise 1: Flash cards

Content: The 3 topics:

1. WHAT? Title of the Project; Intent/ Concept of the Project; and its Programme
2. WHY? Statement/ Objectives of the Project; Issues that it addresses or enquires
about
3. HOW? Site and it's impressions; Reasons for the location

Medium:
Flash cards with one liner text, sketches, photos, diagrams etc.
Basically impressions, value statements, poetry, logical arguments, rational observations,
etc etc....

Format:
Of 12 cm x 12 cm (1 flash card, a square) digital format so we can see them on screen.

Min 5 cards per topic....can go till 15.

Presentation:
We will start the first studio session with project flashcards. Each student will present her
cards very briefly in a concise and to-the-point manner.
