( Electrical panel boards temporary covering )

SCOPE
Specific safety measures have to follow as applicable, and all the safety measures are covered
separately in the project safety plan . All type of Electrical accessories will be properly protected
from construction activities and weather conditions.

OPERATION

Materials: Covering materials (thick polythene & wooden MDF boards / boxes) will be placed as per
approved by the engineer.

Storage / Protection: Electrical Accessories shall be unplugged with care to avoid any electric leakage.
Every precaution shall be taken to preserve their cleanliness before execution the process and needed to
be follow up with manufacturer’s instructions. Moreover Electrical accessories will be properly protected
from construction activities and weather conditions.

Disconnect all equipment independently of wiring system. Ensures that clearance in front of switchgear is
not less than 1m, or as indicated. Number terminals, cables and component parts to correspond with
manufacturer manuals need to be covered with proper material.

In addition, cover up electrical panels in the area, examine all parts of the adjoining works into which
applicable work is to be placed. Proper execution of the work is carried out under the supervision
electrical ground in charge.

Make sure all the parts covered entirely with polythene and wooden cover boxes and safely from insects
such as rats & ants.
