Cause
• Connected device is repeatedly resetting the link to the attached device.
• The switch disables the port to prevent flapping of paths for the hosts on the fabric.
Solution
• This requires investigation of the connected device to the switch ports, as the switch is receiving too many
inbound link failures.
• Engage with vendor if end point product is not NetApp related.
• If end point product is supported through NetApp, please contact NetApp Technical Support and reference
this article for further assistance.
