This canon is concealed by the fact that it is a ‘Laceau’ Canon, where parts however start simultaneously, i.e no delay in between voices, the time-shift being compressed to zero. he 96 resulting eruptions of sound are a strange ‘forest’ of old and young ‘trees’, timbre-processes with enriched spectral life but placed on frequency plateaux of quasi- inharmonic functions or of very high spectral functions filtered to 1/4-tones.
