Appropriation of urban spaces in the city

The urban appropriation for the planning and ordering of the cities that we applied in 8
semesters with the Architect Edgar Roa, Tactical urbanism serves to expand the capacities
of the people and leads to promote an active city. This urbanism becomes a participatory
way to organize the city, it means, we can transform a space with the help of the neighbors
or the floating population where the community proposes a model of intervention and also
appropriates the city. Within this structure we cover topics such as the new centralities
where it was a little more confusing to understand the concepts of compact cities, diffuse or
satellite cities. On the other hand, within the city one of the main difficulties is to count on
the citizenship for the recovery of the neighborhoods or communities, to collect materials
through donations or bazaars for this reason this exercise is carried out jointly with the
human authorities and the citizen.
