Star Student

Each student will be given a special time to SHINE as our room’s STAR
STUDENT. You will receive an additional copy of this letter the week before
your child’s assigned star student days. Our star student schedule is as
follows:

Day 1: Poster Presentation

The poster will be provided to your child, along with this letter, the week
before your child’s assigned star student days. Feel free to have your child
color and decorate the poster creatively and practice presenting it ahead of
time!

Day 2: Pictures

Date: __________

Choose about 8-10 pictures with your child to be shared with the class. Your
child will have the opportunity to share one fun fact about each picture.
These can include pictures of family members, friends, pets, and more.
Pictures will be returned once your child’s star student days are complete.

Day 3: Show and Tell

Date: __________

Your child will choose one special item to share with the class. This can be
his/her favorite toy or stuffed animal, a collection, an award that your child
is proud of, etc. Your child will have the opportunity to share 3 fun facts
about this special item.
