VOCABULARY

TENSES
1. used for facts, generalizations, and truths that are not affected by the passage of

COMPLICATION 1:
Since Jacob did not do research before reserving a non-refundable room, he had to deal with
the problem now. After a while, Jacob then decided to go there by bus which would take 12
hours. after waiting in the bus for 30 minutes he realized he went on the wrong bus, and he
had to get off and get on the bus going the resort. After sitting (following
that/next/eventually) for 12 hours 30 minutes he arrived at the resort and decided to sleep.
COMPLICATION 2:
In the morning he woke up, checked his phone, and realized he had been sleeping for 2 days
and he had missed the bus that was supposed to get him back to the city. After
troubleshooting and promised the hotel manager he was going to transfer the money back
for the extra one day he stayed there he decided to take a car back to the airport.
Unfortunately, after he had wasted all that time and money, he missed the flight and couldn’t
refund of buy a new ticket.
RESOLUTION
After a long time of thinking he decided to use up the rest of his data to call his brother and
ask to transfer money so he could buy a ticket home. He then got a text message saying he
got transferred some money. After seeing that, he rushed to the line and bought a ticket back
home.
