Communication Activity Report

Having studied the methods for communication, I have realised that, while communication plans and
stakeholder maps can be useful, they would be redundant in my career. I currently use a digital
calendar to track and detail any meetings that I have, both in teams and in person and it allows me
to know who the meeting is with, where it is taking place and when to the minute. It will also alert
me to upcoming and overdue meetings. This takes the place of a communication plan.

When it comes to the stakeholder map, our company is small enough and my position is very clear
so it seems like extra work to fill in something that can be easily kept in my mind. It is worth keeping
in mind, however, for as the company and it’s departments grow and potentially move to larger
premises it will be harder to keep track of who should have the highest and lowest priority when
managing time.
