The LDM 2 course meant a lot to a teacher like me. At first, I was a bit
confused of its essence but as time goes by, I was able to see the beauty and vitality of
LDM. When it was implemented in our school, it was hard because of the limited
interaction we have to go through. The health restrictions made it harder and more
difficult to us to meet our minds. Given that not all teachers have WIFI connections at
home, the online meeting was never an absolute solution to our problem.
I am very thankful for the LDM course because truly at first, I was worried if we
can make the teaching and learning possible in times of pandemic. As I go through
the course, I was guided where to go and what to do. The LDM did not only became
my guide, it also challenged me to continue fosterrinf Time is a problem in order to
reproduce these self-learning modules. Second is “free from red flags on possible
copyright and plagiarism issues.” The development of SLMs includes the use of suited
references; however SLMs writers might not be able to properly cite the references
they used. So, the issue of copyright infringement is a great challenge for the SLMs
writers.
The procedure in selecting appropriate SLMs is fundamental in securing better
learning outcomes and teachers have big significant roles in the selection of
appropriate learning resource materials to be used in their teaching. Relatively, this
process had helped me a lot.
As I go through this SLM review in English for Academic & Professional
Purposes, I was enlightened that one of the essential roles of a teacher is to look and
study carefully the most appropriate learning resource materials he will be using. It is
his responsibility to scrutinize carefully the learning resource materials he will be
using because if he does, there will be significant learning outcomes for our children
despite this global health pandemic.

Annotation:

The above certificates goes to show that I let myself be committed in joining professional
development webinars, LAC sessions and online meetings. This is done in order to keep myself
abreast with the new updates in the educative process.
