Statement Of The Problem

This research involve an inquiry into the effect of the pandemic

upon the economic situation as well as the mental health of the
students and teachers at the VDT-ALC for the school year of
2020-2021.

Hypothesis
It cannot be denied that the current COVID-19 pandemic has a
profound effect upon the students and teachers, not only in the
Philippines but for the whole world as well. This research is
therefore done with the initial assumption that the effects are
mostly negative.

Significance Of The Study

Humble as this research maybe, this undertaking can be
considered significant because this pandemic is the first of its
kind, not only because of the global scope where none is
exempted but also because of the disaster it has done to the
economy. History tells us that there had been pandemics
before but not as widespread and serious as the current one.

The results of this research can be very useful in the recovery

programs (that will surely be undertaken) when this pandemic
is over.
