WHAT IS A POLICE OUTPOST IN

RAKHINE STATE, MYANMAR?

By Rick Heizman, July 1, 2021

If you are following the conflict in Rakhine State, Myanmar, you have probably seen or
heard the term - Police Outpost - and you likely have thought, ‘What exactly is a Police
Outpost?…. and, Why are they there?’ Police Outposts do not exist in any other parts of
the entire country of Myanmar - They exist only in northern Rakhine State.

Well, what exactly is a Police Outpost?….and, Why are they there?

WHAT IS A POLICE OUTPOST?

A Police Outpost may be just a simple thatch hut or two surrounded by sandbags and a
perimeter of barbed wire. Or it may be several simple buildings, with a guard tower, where
the officers can stock weapons, eat, get drunk (a problem), and sleep, protected only by
sandbags, barbed wire, and their weapons and state of alertness. It would be manned by
as few as 3 or 4 officers or up to 20 or so Police officers or Border Guard Police. The
average number of officers is 12 - per Outpost. The Police Outposts would often be built
on top of a hill - if there is a hill next to the village it is to protect. They are not fortresses,
as you can see in the photos. If - or when - the Bengali Muslims (‘Rohingya’) get RPGs
(Rocket Propelled Grenades), mortars, or similar weapons, that would drastically change
everything - the Outposts could be destroyed easily and quickly.

WHY ARE THEY THERE?

There is ONE reason and ONE reason only for the Police Outposts - to protect the
Buddhists, Hindus, and ethnic minorities from the violent Bengali Muslims (‘Rohingya’).
Yes, you read that correctly. The Bengali Muslims indoctrinated by their supremacist and
intolerant brand of Islam, have attacked any and all non-Muslims again and again and
again, with major bouts of violence in 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1950s, 1960s, 1977, 1988,
1994, 2012, 2016, and most recently in 2017. The indigenous Buddhists, Hindus, and
ethnic minorities have been slaughtered, and chased out of their homeland too many
times by the more recent arrival of masses of Bengali speaking Muslims from Bangladesh
(historic Bengal). Almost every village or cluster of villages has a Police Outpost, some
large villages have 2 Outposts. The higher the Bengali Muslim (‘Rohingya’) population is,
more or bigger Outposts are needed. Areas of Rakhine State with no Bengali Muslim
population, or very few Muslims do not need Police Outposts.

OTHER MUSLIM COMMUNITIES
Throughout the nation of Myanmar there is no need for Police Outposts near the other
communities of Muslims - the Chulia Muslims, Panthay Muslims, Pathi Muslims, Moplah
Muslims, and others. These Muslim communities are respected and respectful people that live
in peace and harmony with the Burmese. They have never rebelled and fought against the
nation. They have never demanded their own state for themselves only. They have been full
citizens since the birth of the nation of Burma, and have the same rights as any other citizen.
BUT, the Bengali Muslims (‘Rohingya’) are different - very different - dangerously different
- even the other Muslims don’t like them and their violent supremacist form of Islam.

THE SYSTEMATIC PLAN

The Mawlawis (Imams) and the the ARSA (Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army) leaders had
systematically planned that the Bengali Muslim (‘Rohingya’) men and boys were required to
attend weapons, explosives, and fighting skills training with ARSA. At a given time they
would be given assault rifles and bombs. They would attack the Police Outposts first - by
surprise - overtake the Outposts, slaughter the officers, grab all the weapons and ammo,
and then annihilate the Buddhists, Hindus and ethnic minorities, in an INTENDED
GENOCIDE, and declare the land an autonomous (and apartheid) Islamic State. This has
been their goal ever since the birth of the independent nation of Burma / Myanmar in 1948.
