Communication skills and culture are important in negotiating activities


because this will help the management dealing with their client to have a better
understanding and clear communication between them. This can help to resolve conflicts
and build a good relationship with their client and have a closed deal. If a party did not
consider the culture of its client, it would be difficult for them to communicate and might
result to misunderstanding and cannot have mutual benefit with each other and could
miss the opportunity to expand their business through negotiation.

clients or customers?

Yes, attitude and personality can affect the decisions of the clients or
customers. In art of negotiation, you are aiming to discuss the terms and conditions of the
clients or customers and come into an agreement. However, there were also
circumstances that dispute or conflicting interest might arises and it is important for the
clients or customers to see how the team can handle the situation. They might get
convinced to close the deal due to the good impression you have made to the client or
customer. It is also important for them to see how well prepared the team to discuss and
communicate the needed information and see how driven they are to close and committed
to the negotiation.
